Asked about prominent centre-back of theirs Mamadou Sakho's state of fitness, Montpellier manager, Olivier Dall'Oglio, during his latest press conference, ahead of facing Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, stated:
"Sakho is better. He will accompany us to Paris but he is missing a day or two, and he's too short on training. We are not going to take the risk of playing him, he will resume training on a regular schedule since Monday".
A former French senior international, the 31-year old backliner was signed last summer by La Paillade, on a free move, after his four year-long Crystal Palace spell. A PSG alumni himself, Sakho used to play for Liverpool as well, at the peak of his career, back in early-mid 2010's.
