LIGUE 1 - Olympique Marseille fined by LFP after recent incidents
On Wednesday, the disciplinary committee of the LFP ruled on the incidents that took place during Lens-Lille and Angers-Marseille. The Lensois were sentenced to two games behind closed doors, one of which was suspended, the SCO was sanctioned with a closure for a firm match from their Coubertin stand.
As for LOSC and OM, supporters of both clubs will not be able to travel until December 31, 2021.
But the Marseillais were also reprimanded for another reason. Indeed, Provence indicates that the disciplinary commission has sanctioned Olympique de Marseille with a fine of €20,000, as well as the closure for a suspended match of the South group sector. The reason ? They are guilty of using pyrotechnics during the match against Lens on September 26.
