Interviewed by NOS, almost 31-year old Dutch international midfielder Georginio "Gini" Wijnaldum, one out of the several players joining Paris Saint-Germain, after a fulfilling and successful Liverpool course, commented upon the ongoing initial troubles upon his new professional venture, when asked by NOS:

I cannot say that I am completely happy. Because the situation is not what I wanted it to be. But that's football, too, and I'll have to learn to deal with it. I am a fighter. I have to stay positive and work hard to turn the tide.

I've been playing a lot lately, throughout my last seasons with Reds. I've always been fit, besides doing very well performance-wise. Being at PSG is just different, and I have to get used to it. It's a step-by-step process, not an abrupt one. Other clubs wanting me? There were talks with Bayern Munich, but it was some time ago. Inter Milan were keen on me too".
