LIGUE 1 - Rennes top exec Maurice: "We can't rule out signing a defender"

Out of Moroccan international backliner Nayef Aguerd being headed towards upcoming African Cup of Nations, Stade Rennais director of football, Florian Maurice, out of Loic Badé and Warmed Omari being the only central defenders available during the duration of the tournament spell, told Ouest-France: "It's certainly something we are considering, and thinking about. We can't rule out that kind of scenario. I have things in mind of course, I am discussing it with the coach to find the best solution"

In view of Loïc Badé's difficulties since his arrival from Lens this summer, the recruitment of a new player for this position would bring a little more security to Bruno Genesio.
