On November 7, after the rout on the Stade Rennais pitch (4-1), the Olympique Lyonnais locker room witnessed a clash between Jérôme Boateng and Rayan Cherki.

The reason ? The German would not have really appreciated the reaction of his young teammate, who he criticized for having missed a small bridge at the end of the match:

"Who do you think you are? You are 18, you haven't done anything! You must respect me! ”, Boateng would have said.

An unprecedented scene but already experienced at OL in proportions that are certainly incomparable. Thus, in an interview published on Sunday by L'Equipe, Rémy Vercoutre returned to a huge clash that in 2008 opposed Sébastien Squillaci to Hatem Ben Arfa.

In March 2008, during a training, the young Ben Arfa, then 21 years old, allowed himself to insult Sébastien Squillaci after having passed him a small "mocking". An attitude that the former Monegasque had not accepted asking Ben Arfa, at the end of the session, to repeat what he had said. Thing done by the ex-player of Paris Saint-Germain then triggering a fight between the two men.

Present that day, Rémy Vercoutre said: "I saw Hatem Ben Arfa disrespect Toto Squillaci by speaking very badly to him," recalled the former OL goalkeeper. “Toto came back to the locker room very angry, he took his phone to chat with his brother, to try to calm down. Hatem landed and put two cents back into the music! And there, Toto put Hatem in the closet. He split it in two, as it should. It was violent. ” Atmosphere.
