Sofiane Diop signs contract extension with Monaco

As announced on their official social channels, Monaco have reached an agreement on a contract extension with Sofiane Diop.
Diop, a left-footed winger, last year made 35 appearances for the Principality's team, scoring 7 goals and providing two assists. He signed a contract extension that will tie him to Monaco for at least three more seasons, until 2025. The 21-year old joined Monaco from Rennes in 2018, and spent one season on the team's developmental team before joining the senior squad. Last season he went out on loan to Sochaux, where he made 15 appearances, scoring one goal.
He's certainly one of France's young talents, we'll see if he continues his good run of form and growth this season.
