CHELSEA, Jorginho's agent: "If not extending, we'll try to join Italy back"
Asked by Radio Marte about rumours having Napoli call back Italian international deep-lying midfielder Jorginho (29), out of Maurizio Sarri joining the club as a first-team manager again, Joao Santos, agent of Chelsea playmaker, stated: "We often hear about such talks. Of course, Tuchel deems him a pivotal, and that's something we must bear in mind. However, landing back to Napoli wouldn't be a step backward, career-wise. It's one of Italian top clubs, and Jorginho is an Italy regular player. Besides, we'll obviously have to deal with what's going to be doable, money-wise. We are aware Chelsea are full of powerful midfielders. If not extending, we're going to try joining Italy back".
Playing for Blues since 2018/19, Jorginho, brought to Premier League first by Sarri himself, is still on a deal with Stamford Bridge giants until June 2023.
