Chelsea sign Bettinelli as backup goalie

Parting ways with home club of his, Fulham, for good, 29-year old English goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli has officially been signed by Chelsea. Fetching him as a backup goalie, to be lined up on behalf of Edouard Mendy when the latter's unavailable, former Cottagers stopper agreed with Blues, not leaving London city territory and borders therefore, on a 2-year deal.
