Liverpool FC trust youth player James McConnell to take the next step. As the Reds officially announce, the 17-year-old signed his first professional contract at Anfield. McConnell moved from Sunderland AFC to Liverpool U15 two years ago.
The midfielder is currently playing for the U18 team, but McConnell is still waiting for his debut for the Klopp club's first team. At the end of August he made it into the matchday squad in the EFL Cup.
Well done, James
