Wolverhampton sign Japanese international Kawabe

Wolverhampton announced having signed 26-year old Japanese international central midfielder Hayao Kawabe, on a deal lasting until June 2025, from Grasshoppers.

As disclosed by Wolves, Hayao is expected to return on loan to complete the season in Switzerland, ​after spending January with his new parent club.

The Japanese international midfielder signs from @gc_zuerich on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
