PREMIER - Arsenal have to prepare €70M to sign Real Sociedad's star
Arsenal will allegedly have to fork out £60 million to sign Real Sociedad centre-forward Alexander Isak next summer’s transfer window according to Footy Extras.
The 22-year-old star caught the eye for Sweden at UEFA Euro 2020 and was linked with transfers to a host of top European sides during the most recent transfer market.
However, Alexander instead elected to pen a fresh five-year deal with Sociedad until the summer of 2026, and the existing contract includes a €70 million (£59.8m) buy-out clause.
According to a fresh report from a Spanish daily sports newspaper AS, the Reale Arena outfit are not prepared to lower their demands for their prized asset, meaning that the Gunners will have to fork out the entirety of his exit clause should they wish to land him in 2022.
