PREMIER - Arsenal prepared to swap a one of 4 players for Maddison
As the James Maddison affair continues to be filled with sudden twists and turns, it now seems that Arsenal are ready to swap one out of a choice of 4 players to Leicester in order to bring the player to London.
In a new report by British outlet football.london, it is claimed that Arsenal management have told Leicester that they could choose a player out of a possible four that are set to leave the Gunners. Namely, those are Reiss Nelson, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Joe Willock and Eddie Nkietah. Arsenal would also include cash considerations together with the player.
The London club are clearly trying to lower the reported 60M GBP price tag for Maddison, but at this team it doesn't appear the Foxes are interested in a player, preferring a cash-only offer. We'll see if in the end Arsenal will acquiesce to their demands or will focus their resources on another, more affordable player.
