Manchester United was in action early today. At home they played against Aston Villa, where they had to recover after the League Cup elimination against West Ham United earlier this week. However, that turned out to be a difficult task. The chances were there for the home team, without it being really dangerous. Of the 26 (!) attempts, only four were between the posts.

It turned out not to be enough for a goal and United seemed to have to settle for just one point, until things got even worse in the final phase. It was defender Kortney Hause from a corner who gave the visitors a surprising late lead with a truly phenomenal header. United got one more huge chance to do something back, namely from eleven yards. The question of whether Ronaldo would claim the penalty kicks was answered with a no. Bruno Fernandes started, but shot high. He was one of the main culprits in United's disgrace, which went down 0-1 at home.

This defeat adds up the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who according to reports is likely to be sacked before December. Former Real Madrid coach Zidane is tipped to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer due to his winning mentality and his ability to get his team to win trophies.
