After reports emerged Newcastle United has been taken over by new ownership, several reports and stories have gone about in regards to star players being signed and new coaches likely to be coaxed to manage the club.

The likes of players like Lewandowski, Lingard, etc have all been linked to a move to the club since the club can now afford to spend big in bringing in quality players.

In the coaching sector, the likes of Zidane, Leicester manager Brendan Rodger, Steven Gerrard, etc have also been linked to replace Steve Bruce as manager.

Steve Bruce still remains as head coach for the club after speculations stated that he will be sacked before their clash with Tottenham this weekend.

For the first time since the club's acquisition, Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce talked to the media on Friday on how the mood in camp is:

“I think they’re excited like everybody else. They realise there’s been a monumental change and I’m sure the players will want to prove that they can be part of taking the club to a better place. Certainly there’s been a change in the whole atmosphere.”
