PREMIER - Chelsea, the midfielder Tuchel admires and loves
James Ward-Prowse is the player Thomas Tuchel would give his all to work with. The Southampton midfielder has been the best in recent Premier League campaigns and many know it. Captain of the ‘Saints’ and with a recently signed contract, he has always been a cover for the league, but the ‘scouts’ have always been behind him.
Liverpool and Manchester United have always been two fans of James's game. And it is that he not only stands out for what he does on the court, which too, but his attitude outside of it is worth gold. It is not just signing a midfielder, but a leader in the locker room and when the battles on the field start.
Getting Ward-Prowse out of his beloved Southampton has always been the problem. Both have always had a tremendous relationship and it is a bond that few, very few can break. Aston Villa was very interested in the past market, but their efforts were not enough.
Chelsea would go after him. He knows that his price is close to 50 million but after Saul's oblivion, the 'Blues' coach continues in search of another player for this area, since he remains unconvinced by players like Loftus-Cheek, or Gallagher and Gilmour who are on loan.
