PREMIER - Curtis Jones hits 50 appearances for boyhood club
After helping Liverpool defeat Norwich City, Curtis Jones took to Twitter to reminisce on making 50 appearances for the Reds.
Of course, the midfielder has a long way to go in the game, but he's had a promising start with the Reds, having already been a part of title-winning sides.
Indeed, he'll be looking for more first-team opportunities for the rest of the season, and he celebrated his 50th match on Twitter:
"50 appearances for my boyhood club, topped with a great result. Well done boys Thank you for your support always. Safe journey home reds"
Jones made his first-team debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup third round on January 7, 2019.
Jones signed a new long-term deal with the club on July 4, 2020. After coming in as a substitute in a 2–0 win over Aston Villa the next day, he scored his first league goal for the club.
