PREMIER - Harvey Elliott likely to play again this season
After a successful ankle operation, Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott is expected to return to the field this season.
The surgery was done performed on the adolescent in London on Tuesday, according to a statement on the club's website.
For obvious reasons, Liverpool are hesitant to set a timetable on Elliott's rehabilitation, as they were with Virgil van Dijk and his teammates last season.
This is a huge boost for Jürgen Klopp and the rest of the club, as the 18-year-old was starting to establish himself in the Reds' regular starting XI.
Elliott sustained a fracture-dislocation of the left joint, according to a statement on Liverpool's official website.
It's hard to say how long the child will be out of commission, and to be honest, knowing how long he'll be out wouldn't assist anyone.
