PREMIER - Jadon Sancho proud to score first United goal

After battling for form since his mega-money trade from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United, it was fantastic to watch Jadon Sancho perform so brilliantly against Villarreal.
Michael Carrick, the caretaker manager, elected to start him against the Spanish team, and he was undoubtedly United's best attacking player on the pitch.
Sancho scored his first goal for the club at the very end, and he quickly responded to the "proud" occasion on Twitter, saying:
“Proud to score my first goal for @ManUtd in the best competition in world football @Champions League! Great team effort from the boys tonight, we build from this.”
All United securing a place in the Champions League's knockout stages, Sancho will be hoping that the new manager provides him with the opportunities he needs to develop and grow into this United team.
