Previously training Marseille and Lille, Marcelo Bielsa has never hidden his admiration for the talents of the French championship, and is keeping a close eye on the players of Ligue 1. Besides, Leeds United coach could try to catch some of Peacocks workforce for the next season from Olympique Lyonnais. According to The Sun, the Argentine wants to recruit left side Maxwel Cornet (36 games and 2 goals in L1 this season).

"El Loco" particularly appreciates the speed and versatility of the Ivorian international, who can evolve in all positions in the left lane. Two years from the end of his contract, OL are not opposed to Cornet's departure this summer. Les Gones would ask for a little less than 25 million euros to let him go. An amount for the moment considered too high by the Peacocks, according to the British tabloid.

Turning 25 on September 27, the left winger-turned-wingback is currently on a deal with Lyon until June 2023, and was previously tracked by more clubs  around, including Arsenal and AS Roma.
