PREMIER - Liverpool and Tottenham fight over Wolves star
From Liga Financial, Premier League giants Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly contemplating an approach for Wolves attacker Adama Traore. The Spain international is yet to commit his future with Wolves beyond 2023, leading to rumours that he could be moved on in the summer transfer window.
Now the Daily Mail claims that ex-Wolves head-coach Nuno Espirito Santo wants to reunite with the ex-Barcelona starlet at Tottenham, and Liverpool are believed to be their main rivals in the race. The report adds that Lage’s side are yet to receive any formal move from interested parties, and they would demand a fee of £45m to part ways with Adama Traore, despite his contract situation.
Traore – who only made one substitute game for Spain at Euro 2020 – found back of the net three times and provided three assists from 41 games in all competitions under Santo last season.
