PREMIER - Liverpool will send €100 million bid for Barcelona star
The departure of Georginio Wijnaldum caused Liverpool to look for another replacement. The Premier League club is now targeting Barcelona midfielder Pedri and ready to send a fantastic bid.
Nobody expected that the young Spaniard would show an impressive performance since moving to Barca last year. Just bought him from Las Palmas for around €5 million, he became a key piece of Ronald Koeman's squad.
Scored four goals and set up six more in 54 appearances, the 18-year-old was believed to be the incarnation of Andres Iniesta and Xavi Hernandez. No wonder Barcelona tried to keep the star on a renewal contract.
Liverpool now seems desperate to search for another potential midfielder. However, Jurgen Klopp has already suggested that Pedri will be an ideal player for this or further season.
Eduardo Inda, Ok Siario director, said: "Liverpool and City want the most spectacular promise of Spain and European football Pedri. Klopp is already in love with the player's style, pace, and vision," he added.
Consequently, the Reds will be believed to spend a lot of money for the next transfer window. Another report said, they at least need to pay a region fee €100 million for the ex Las Palmas star.
Sadly Liverpool's desire to hijack Pedri will cause a conflict with Barcelona. After all, Catalan giant already confirmed that the wonderkid should not leave for the rest of the contract.
