In a video that appeared on the Club's Twitter account, Norwich City announced that they extended manager Daniel Farke's contract for four more years.

The 44-year old Farke certainly deserved the extension, as he led the Canaries to two straight promotions on their way back to Premier League football this season. He became Norwich's skipper in 2017 and the club has been up and down between the Championship and the Premier in that time. He will now hopefully be at the club until 2025.

Speaking to the media for the first time since the new deal, Farke expressed his satisfaction: "I’m absolutely over the moon and feel pretty emotional in such a moment...I’m unbelievably grateful for all of the trust and support. It is a pleasure to be allowed to continue to work on this level with such a special club...I must also thank (sporting director) Stuart Webber for his trust and backing, my staff and players, as well as the supporters. We have a pretty special relationship in this club".

We'll see if Norwich City made the right choice and if Farke is able to avoid relegation in the first season back in the Premier in two years.
