PREMIER - Norwich loses six straight Premier League games

Norwich was defeated 2-0 by Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday, losing their sixth straight Premier League game of the season. Andros Townsend and Abdoulaye Doucoure scored the goals.
Townsend scored the game's first goal in the 29th minute after referee David Coote reviewed footage of Ozan Kabak's challenge on Allan.
Mathias Normann, a Norwich midfielder, forced two fine stops from Jordan Pickford before Doucoure increased Everton's lead in the 77th minute.
The loss made it six defeats in a row for Daniel Farke's bottom-placed Canaries this season, extending their Premier League losing streak to 16 games (including the last games of the 2019-20 season).
Everton is back on track under Rafael Benitez following a 3-0 setback to Aston Villa last weekend and a League Cup exit at QPR. With 13 points from six games, the Toffees sit in fifth place in the rankings.
