PREMIER - Odegaard praised by Arteta for Arsenals bounce back

On Tuesday, Mikel Arteta praised Martin Odegaard's leadership abilities after the Norway midfielder helped Arsenal recover from a bad start to the Premier League season.
Arsenal won 1-0 against Burnley last Saturday thanks to Odegaard's pinpoint free-kick, as the Gunners bounced back from losing their opening three league games with back-to-back victories.
Before Wednesday's League Cup third-round encounter against third-tier AFC Wimbledon, Arteta stated, "We are building some leadership in the group,"
"Martin has this capacity to do that with his talent, taking the ball where others probably refuse to, but as well with his attitude, rhythm and the way he presses."
Arsenal finished ninth in the Premier League in 2020/21 and had their worst start to a league season in 67 years this season, so Arteta is under pressure to produce.
