PREMIER - Rangnick to miss United against Arsenal due to work visa
While manager Ralf Rangnick waits for a work visa, Michael Carrick will guide Manchester United against Arsenal in the Premier League on Thursday.
Carrick took over as temporary manager after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was fired on Nov. 21. He has two games under his belt: a 2-0 win against Villarreal in the Champions League and a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the Premier League.
Rangnick was hired as the team's manager for the remainder of the season, which ends on Monday. He was previously the head of sports and development of Lokomotiv Moscow in Russia.
"While the club follows the regulatory process around a work visa, Carrick will continue at the helm," United said Tuesday.
