PREMIER - United wins appeal of Wan-Bissaka’s two-match ban
Manchester United's appeal against Aaron Wan-Bissaka's two-match suspension for a red card he got in a 2-1 loss to Young Boys last month was successful.
After being sent off in the first half of the game for a bad challenge, the right-sorrow back's was exacerbated two weeks later when UEFA imposed a two-match suspension.
A similar challenge in another Champions League game went unpunished just hours later, which will have irritated Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
According to BBC journalist Simon Stone, Wan-suspension Bissaka's has been reduced to one game, which means he will be eligible for Wednesday's important group game against Atalanta.
Diogo Dalot had a rough night against Arnaut Danjuma at Old Trafford, therefore Wan-absence Bissaka's against Villarreal was telling. Solskjaer will be pleased with the decision to decrease Wan-suspension, Bissaka's and he will believe it was the correct choice in the end.
