TOTTENHAM captain LLORIS: "We must be held accountable for Mourinho's firing"
Addressed with José Mourinho just having got sacked, 34-year old French international goalkeeper and Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris stated: "As Spurs players, we must be held accountable for what happened, of course. Mourinho is a great professional, a man who knows his football. We are unhappy with how his course here didn't turn out the way we all wanted to, but I'm sure he'll bounce back soon".
Tottenham are going to face Manchester City for Carabao Cup final match.
