WBA - Clubs piling up after resident powerhouse Matheus PEREIRA
Providing West Bromwich Albion a fine seasonal performance, Brazilian-Portuguese winger Matheus Pereira (25), according to Express Sport, has been targeted by Leeds United, Leicester City, and RB Leipzig. Playing for Baggies since 2019/20, Pereira was signed by English club on an overall 9 million euros transfer fee, from Sporting Lisbon, in two instalments.
Before managing to stand out from the Great Britain shores, Pereira used to play into Sporting Lisbon ranks, a tenure interspersed with loan spells, notably FC Nuremberg and Deportivo Chaves ones. So far, the 1996-born playmaker isn't exactly up for sale, though a proper bid might shake things up. To this end, both Foxes and Peacocks, as well as German giants, and even more clubs might end up piling up after him.
