Adam Buksa, a striker for the New England Revolution, had a dream debut for Poland, scoring in his country's 4-1 victory against Albania in World Cup Qualifying group stage play.

Buksa's goal came at a crucial moment after Poland had yielded the equalizer following Lewandowski's 12th-minute opener. Buksa's renowned teammate Robert Lewandowski scored a goal and added an assist to help Poland finish second in Group I with a lopsided victory.

The 25-year-old Buksa was making his Poland debut after leading the Revs to the top of the Supporters' Shield rankings and establishing himself as an MLS Cup favorite. Buksa has contributed to such efforts by scoring 10 goals and dishing out two assists in 23 games (16 starts).
