After losing to a rather controversial early spot-kick, England was forced to settle for a draw against Hungary at home.
After Luke Shaw was deemed to have committed a foul in the area for a high foot, Roland Sallai handed Hungary a surprise lead from the penalty spot at Wembley, much to England's chagrin.
However, John Stones equalized from close range when a Phil Foden free-kick was deflected on for an opportunity the defender couldn't miss, securing a point that they earned.
With the latest result, after eight matches played, England is leading Group I with 20 points and have two matches left to play against Albania on the 12th of Nov and San Marino on the 15th of Nov.
