In preparation for the upcoming Euro 2020 tournament England played against Austria yesterday at Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough. England won 1-0 with a score from Bukayo Saka from Arsenal. That is not the biggest news coming out from yesterday's game. After suffering an injury in the latest minutes of the game, Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold will miss the competition.

The defenders came out of the game and right away it looks the injury could have been serious since he was limping walking into the tunnel. Alexander-Arnold has suffered a grade two quad tear and recovery will take up to 6 weeks. England manager Gareth Southgate needs to replace the young talent and even Alexander-Arnold was really impressing during the game, England can replace him with Kyle Walker, Kieran Trippier or Reece James.
