NATIONS - Karim Benzema looks back on France elimination at Euro 2020
In an interview with L'Équipe on Saturday, Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema spoke about the news of his current club as well as his return to the French team.
Asked about the collective performance of the Blues during the last Euro against Switzerland, the former Lyonnais did not hide his frustration, especially given the quality of the France workforce.
“With the team we had, it wasn't a good Euro overall. France was vice-champion of Europe, world champion. We had the players to do a lot better. We would all have liked to go much further.
