Playing professional football at the age of 15 is absurd enough, but senior international football at that age is even more so.

When Enes Sali, a 15-year-old wonderkid, came off the bench against Liechtenstein on Sunday, he received his first international cap.

When Sali scored for Farul Constanta, managed by Romanian icon Gheorghe Hagi, in September, he became the youngest player to score in the Romanian top flight.

And now he holds the record for being the youngest European player to participate in a competitive international match, surpassing Martin degaard, who made his senior debut for Norway at the age of 15.

The deceptive attacking midfielder was born in February 2006 in Toronto, Canada, and spent time at Barcelona's La Masia academy, where he trained with his idol Lionel Messi.
