NATIONS - Spain targets Arsenal whizkid Charlie Patino.
Spain is planning a bid to sign the talented 17-year-old midfielder from England.
Patino, who was born in Watford and has played for England up to under-18 level, is also eligible for Spain because of his father Julio and grandparents who live there, according to the Daily Mail.
Patino has been on their radar for a while, but his latest actions have led the Spanish Federation to resurrect their efforts to persuade the kid to transfer sides.
The player, who joined Arsenal from Luton when he was 11 years old, has emerged as the club's newest bright hope from the Hale End academy, with his progress to the first team picking up speed this season.
