In the last national team break, some of the countries that will be represented in the Qatar World Cup in 2022 were announced. On the other hand, many teams were left without options to qualify.

In Europe, ten teams certified their qualification for the Qatar World Cup in 2022. In addition, twelve other teams qualified for the famous play-off, in which nine of them will be eliminated, and only three of the twelve will reach the long-awaited qualification for the Qatar World Cup 2022.

This has been a great dilemma, since great teams such as Sweden, Portugal or Italy will play for the World Cup in the play-offs. An Italy that, remember, is the current European champion. Or Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal, who lost qualification in the last minute to Serbia.

In Africa, the ten champions of the qualifying groups have already been defined. Now, those teams will face each other and, the five winners, will obtain a direct pass to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Some eliminations have left us a bitter taste, since there are many cracks that will not be in the next World Cup event. Here we bring you a short list of four stars who will not play in Qatar in the coming winter of 2022.

Four stars who will not be in the Qatar 2022 World Cup

-Jan Oblak: International with Slovenia, the Atlético de Madrid goalkeeper had a very difficult time. His selection had hardly any options in a group led by Croatia and whose second classified has ended up being Russia.

-Erling Haaland: Possibly, the loss of the Norwegian is the most sensitive of those confirmed (at the expense of the repechage). The Norwegian team reached the last game with options, but were finally eliminated. The Netherlands finished as the leader of their group, while Turkey took the playoff spot.

-Franck Kessié: The AC Milan midfielder, and the one that the biggest clubs in the continent are bidding for, will not be in the World Cup either. His team, Côte d'Ivoire, was eliminated after losing to Cameroon on the last day.

-Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: The Arsenal striker had a very difficult time qualifying his selection for the World Cup, since he was in the Egypt group. The selection led by Mo Salah has not given rise to surprise and has been proclaimed as the undisputed leader of the group.
