Mark Fleks may soon be able to report to the Dutch national team. The SC Freiburg goalkeeper has been included in the preliminary squad for the game against Latvia and Gibraltar by national coach Louis van Gaal. Noa Lang and Luuk de Jong are also on the list of the coach.

The 28-year-old Fleks was already mentioned by Van Gaal at the previous press conference. The national coach also immediately announced that people were going to watch the performances of the Limburger. Fleks played in the youth of Roda JC Kerkrade, but has been active in Germany for years now. After adventures with Alemannia Aachen, Greuther Furth and MSV Duisburg, he currently plays with Freiburg.

After his excellent performances at Club Brugge, Lang can also hope for Orange. Until now, the attacker has only played for the Young Orange, but is now in the pre-selection of the 'big' Orange. Luuk de Jong was missing from the selection in recent games and has now returned. He recently made the move from Sevilla to FC Barcelona, where he made his debut last Tuesday.

Furthermore, there are mainly well-known names included in the pre-selection. Justin Bijlow, Tyrell Malacia and Devyne Rensch made their debut under Van Gaal and are back in the lineup. The same applies to Guus Til, who has put himself back on the map at Feyenoord. The Orange squad will play against Latvia (away) and Gibraltar (home) in more than three weeks. Van Gaal's men are first in the group and have the World Cup in sight.
