PREMIER - Man United in driving seat to land Bellingham
Manchester United are in pole position to sign Jude Bellingham, having laid the foundations for a future deal before the teenage midfielder joined current club Borussia Dortmund, according to reports in the Sunday Mirror.
The 18-year-old England international has been linked with a return to his native country next summer but Dortmund intend to secure his long-term future with the offer of a new contract.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City have all been linked with the former Birmingham star, who is under contract at Dortmund until the summer of 2025.
Chelsea are allegedly monitoring Jude Bellingham as the Blues plot a transfer move for the midfielder as an alternative to West Ham’s Declan Rice. The west Londoners have only made two acquisitions up until now this summer market.
